Use your Pastry World puff pastry 5” squares to create a variety of quick breakfast fixes
Ingredients
For Sugar Puffs
- Granulated sugar
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
For Herb Twists
- Softened butter
- Mixed herbs (or any herbs of your choice)
For Chocolate Twists
- Nutella
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Method
- Sugar Puffs
- Cut your squares into long strips
- Brush with an egg wash and sprinkle with sugar
- Bake at 220°C (200°C Fan / Gas Mark 7) until crispy and golden brown
- Herb Twists
- Spread softened butter on puff pastry and sprinkle with the herbs of your choice
- Hold both ends and give it a twist
- Bake at 220°C (200°C Fan / Gas Mark 7) until crispy and golden brown
- Chocolate twists
- Spread Nutella on puff pastry
- Cut into 5” long strips, hold each end and twist
- Brush with an egg wash
- Bake at 220°C (200°C Fan / Gas Mark 7) until crispy and golden brown
