Use your Pastry World puff pastry 5” squares to create a variety of quick breakfast fixes

Ingredients

For Sugar Puffs

  • Granulated sugar
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

For Herb Twists

  • Softened butter
  • Mixed herbs (or any herbs of your choice)

For Chocolate Twists

  • Nutella
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Method

  1. Sugar Puffs
    1. Cut your squares into long strips
    2. Brush with an egg wash and sprinkle with sugar
    3. Bake at 220°C (200°C Fan / Gas Mark 7) until crispy and golden brown
  2. Herb Twists
    1. Spread softened butter on puff pastry and sprinkle with the herbs of your choice
    2. Hold both ends and give it a twist
    3. Bake at 220°C (200°C Fan / Gas Mark 7) until crispy and golden brown
  3. Chocolate twists
    1. Spread Nutella on puff pastry
    2. Cut into 5” long strips, hold each end and twist
    3. Brush with an egg wash
    4. Bake at 220°C (200°C Fan / Gas Mark 7) until crispy and golden brown
