Mini Sausage Arrows

Quick and easy finger food for everyone to snack on

Ingredients

  • Pastry World Puff Pastry Sheet
  • Sliced cheese
  • Mini sausages
  • Caramelised onions (optional)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Method

  1. Starting off with our Pastry World puff pastry sheet rolls, cut out 20 equal squares
  2. Place in a cut slice of cheese at the centre of each square. The cheese should leave ½ centimetre border along the pastry square
  3. On top of the cheese slices, add your mini sausages. You could also add caramelised onions here
  4. Bring two diagonal corners over the top of the sausage and seal using an egg wash. Place a cocktail stick through the centre of each arrow to keep the corners together and stuck to the sausage
  5. Once they are all done, place on a lined baking tray (you can use the baking paper provided with your sheet). Make sure to leave space between each arrow. Use the remaining egg wash to brush the pastry.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven until the pastry is golden brown
  7. Once out of the oven, carefully remove the toothpick so the top is not broken
